Cloud Security Manager



As the Cloud Security Manager, you are a passionate cyber security professional with leadership experience who has worked with public Cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP. You will assist Mirai’s clients in aligning a security management strategy with their business goals. Acting as the liaison between the client and technology teams, you will lead technical discussions, guide the development of strategic and tactical security architecture efforts, design, and drive implementations to completion, and assist the team in developing their skills and delivery capabilities.

  • Develop and support the delivery of products and services related to cloud security.
  • Supporting the team in achieving their objectives.
  • Provide roadmaps and coaching to clients on best practices in alignment with their business requirements and industry-leading practices.
  • Work with technical and business units across the organization as a security reference point, offering advice, support, and guidance on a wide range of security issues.
  • Provide guidance to and assist in training and help further develop the team’s Cloud Security skills and delivery capabilities
  • Support the development of reports, solution design documents, presentations, and other solution collateral to help our consultants, partners, and clients build on the work the Cloud team delivers.
  • Ability to translate cloud security concepts to a non-technical audience from a business risk management perspective.
  • Liaise with, coach, and advise business stakeholders in a timely manner and manage the expectations of clients.
  • Other cyber security professional-related duties as required or assigned


  • 3+ years leading, managing and training a team.
  • 5+ years of hands-on Cloud experience with one or more major Cloud Service Providers (Azure, AWS, GCP).
  • 3+ years of post-secondary education or related experience.
  • Have at least one Cloud related certification such as Azure AZ-500, AWS Cloud Solutions Architect, GCP Cloud Engineer, etc.
  • Experience with multi-Cloud and Hybrid Cloud architectures.
  • Understanding how DevOps works within Cloud Environments.
  • Understanding security concepts with SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS service models.
  • Experience working with and advising customers on portions of security frameworks (SOC2, ISO, HIPAA, PCI, NIST, etc.) that are relevant to the cloud.
  • Must live in Canada and be legally able to work
  • Passion for continuous learning
  • Desire to mentor and grow a technical team
  • Client facing professionalism and integrity with excellent written and oral communication skills in Business English
  • Ability to create documentation and diagrams to support design decisions
  • Understanding of information security and risk management principles
  • Understanding of different business strategies
